CabParts Online Updates: Faster, Easier, and More Flexible Ordering
We’ve been working to make CabParts Online even better for you. From simplifying your quoting process to expanding your cabinet options. Whether you’re a contractor, cabinet builder, designer, or architect, these updates are designed to make ordering custom cabinets online more efficient and flexible.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new in CabParts Online:
- We have added the ability to extend wall cabinet sides down below the bottom of the cabinet box itself, up to 96″ height over all (total). The setting can be found near the top of the configurator settings (to the right of the line item on the online order form), and you can select the left side, right side or both to extend below the cabinet. You can now more easily make, for example, a hutch or entertainment unit by extending the wall upper sides to a base unit below or a refrigerator cabinet by extending the sides to the floor
- Rollout shelves can now be ordered individually and you have the option to include bottom mounting brackets and/or left or right (or both) 1″ side spacer blocks.
- Panels, Wall Fillers and Fillers are each now two separate items, one of which defaults to match the door materials, while the other defaults to match the case materials.
- Tip-out trays have been added as built-in options to sink cabinets with false drawer fronts.
- We have added a base cabinet for trash unit. The drawer rail is replace by a full-depth fixed shelf, and you can select whether or not to include drawer fronts or a bottom drawer box (if you prefer to provide your own trash pullout hardware which could attach to the cabinet case and to the back of the lower drawer front).
- We have added Blum Drawer Front Adjusters (Blum 295.1000.21) to the back of 1-piece/slab drawer fronts supplied by us. Included are the necessary 8 x 32 machine screws to mount the fronts through the drawer boxes into the adjusters – you then tighten the screws enough to hold the fronts in place while you make any necessary final adjustments up, down or sideways. You then finally tighten the adjusters. Mounting pulls or knobs through the drawer fronts and drawer boxes will lock everything into place. The adjusters are 20 mm in diameter and 10.5 mm deep.
We can also provide a Drawer Front Marker (Blum 65.2950.10) to assist when attaching these drawer fronts to your own drawers or dovetailed wood drawers supplied by CabParts.
